Nicolás Parra is a dedicated education attorney with a unique background that enriches his legal practice. Nic serves higher-education and TK-12 educational institutions throughout California, focusing on board leadership and governance, litigation, student rights & discipline, and labor law.

Prior to joining F3 Law, Nic honed his legal acumen in corporate law at a large, multi-national firm, where he supported startup founders and facilitated multimillion-dollar investment deals. His proactive commitment to education extended to providing pro bono education-related legal advice. This corporate background provides Nic with a robust foundation in legal principles, enabling him to skillfully navigate complex issues for his clients.

Nic’s passion for education law stems from his tenure with Teach For America, where he taught high school mathematics in Phoenix, Arizona. This frontline experience imbued him with profound insights into the challenges faced by educators, administrators, and students. As President of the Arizona Students’ Association during his undergrad years, Nic successfully advocated for student rights and educational improvements at the legislative level. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nic interned at the University of California’s Office of the President, where he assisted with analyzing novel legal issues for the UC system during this critical time.

With a master’s degree in education complementing his legal expertise, Nic offers clients a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape surrounding education. After school, you can find me playing on my intramural dodgeball team and walking my dog, Rocco. I love to watch college sports, Jeopardy, and RuPaul's Drag Race.

I also love to travel and try to check off a couple of countries every year. My most interesting expeditions include the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine.
