Los Angeles, CA – F3 Law is pleased to announce the addition of three senior attorneys to its growing team. Dan Ojeda and Jeff Harrison have joined the firm as Partners in the Los Angeles office, and Komey Vishakan has joined as Senior Counsel in our Oakland office. With their combined decades of experience in the public sector and education law, these accomplished attorneys bring unique skills and experience that will benefit our clients and strengthen our market leading position to provide comprehensive legal counsel to educational institutions and public agencies.
Dan has more than 30 years’ legal experience including 25 in the education sector, which gives him true insight into the needs of our higher education clients. With a proven track record of providing creative solutions to challenging legal issues, Dan has in-house experience in both public and private institutions of higher education, having served as chief campus counsel for multiple California State University campuses as well as Senior Associate General Counsel for private Chapman University. His broad experience ranging from large state universities to smaller regional colleges further solidifies F3 Law’s position as a leader in the area of higher education.

Jeff, a seasoned litigator representing myriad public agency clients from school districts to local governments has more than 30 years of experience, and brings extensive knowledge of business litigation, discrimination and harassment law, and general counsel representation to the firm. His ability to manage complex legal challenges and advocate for his clients’ interests is an invaluable asset for F3 Law’s clients.
“My goal is to help school districts and public agencies navigate the legal challenges they face in a way that allows them to focus on their core mission,” said Jeff.
Komey offers a unique perspective to the firm’s clients, having served as both a prosecutor and in-house school district general counsel. Her comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape from all sides of the courtroom allows her to efficiently resolve complex issues faced by educational institutions, such as student misconduct, Title IX matters, investigations, and other disputes.
“I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings around the world, from the UK to Australia and the United States,” said Komey. “This experience has equipped me with the skills to navigate even the most complex legal challenges in the education sector.”
